چکیده
In this letter, we investigate an intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) aided device-to-device (D2D) offloading system, where IRS is employed to assist in computation from a group of users with intensive tasks another idle users. To minimize the system latency while cutting down heavy overhead exchange channel state information (CSI), study joint design beamforming and resource allocation on mixed timescales. Specifically, high-dimensional passive vector at updated frame-based manner based statistics, each frame consists number time slots, ratio user matching strategy are optimized relied low-dimensional real-time effective coefficients slot. A novel mixed-integer stochastic successive convex approximation (MISSCA) algorithm proposed tackle challenging problem. The convergence property computational complexity then examined. Simulation results show that our significantly outperforms conventional benchmarks.

Joint storage assignment for D2D offloading systems
D2D offloading reduces the load of cellular network by asking mobile nodes to download content directly from storage of neighboring helpers via short range links. In this paper, we introduce a novel storage assignment scheme that can enhance storage utilization for D2D networks that have different types of storage nodes. Unlike traditional D2D systems that only use storage as static content cac...

In this paper, we explore the impacts of utilizing intelligent reflecting surfaces (IRS) in a power-splitting based simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (PS-SWIPT) system and compare its performance with the traditional decode and forward relaying system. To analyze a more practical system, it is also assumed that the receiving nodes are subject to decoding cost, and they are on...
